Great Women on Great British Menu 2019
We interviewed all of the amazing women about appearing on Great British Menu – Sabrina Gidda of Allbright, Emily Scott of St Tudy Inn, Lorna McNee of Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, Gleneagles, Samira Effa formerly of The Alimentum and Cindy Challoner formerly of The Classroom. They all performed amazingly and did their regions proud. Good luck to Lorna McNee who made it through to finals week. We’re following her progress to see if she makes the banquet on Friday 17th May!

Interview with Irini Tzortzoglou MasterChef Champion 2019 – Women In the Food Industry
2019 was the first all female finale of MasterChef and our co-founder, Mecca Ibrahim, was delighted to interview champion Irini Tzortzoglou about her experience on the show. She caught up with Irini not long after she had returned to her home in Cumbria after a working holiday to Crete, the place of her birth, to talk about what life was like after winning.

Aida Khan’s new restaurant Shola – brings authentic Pakistani food to West London
Aida Khan’s new Pakistani restaurant Shola had only been open for two weeks when our co-founder, Mecca Ibrahim, visited for lunch but it was buzzing with a warm and lively atmosphere as it brought some much needed spice to the Media Works area of White City in Shepherd’s Bush.
