The Cookbook Festival returns to Chiswick from 12th to 16th September 2019 as part of the Chiswick Book Festival.  The festival has a great and varied line-up of chefs; every single one with their own fascinating approach to cooking and inspirational stories to share. For the first time ever, on Saturday 29th June, Le Cordon Bleu London will throw open its doors for a very exciting Summer Food & Drink Festival. The world famous cookery school will host a fabulous array of Chef demos including Asma Khan; Olivia Burt and Anna Hansen, to name just a few.

Women in the Food Industry and The Chefs Forum have teamed up with one of West London’s largest catering colleges – West London College – Hammersmith & Fulham Campus, for an evening of canapés, Christmas drinks and insightful fireside chats. Enjoy delicious canapés prepared by catering students working with our chef community, plus wine & delicious non alcoholic drinks. You can also sample & buy food, drink gifts and party food ideas from a range of award-winning female founders.

Women in the Food Industry brought you an insightful panel event, with a showcase of snacks, & soft drinks from black female food founders. Attendees met an inspirational panel of women who are leveraging their food businesses to celebrate the heritage of black people & also discovered some of the challenges they faced as black women in the food industry and how they overcame them.

Quick and Easy Vietnamese: Everyday Vietnamese Recipes for The Home Cook  is the latest book from multi-talented writer, cook, food and prop stylist, and photographer Uyen Luu. When Uyen is not writing or taking photographs for a number of best-selling cookbooks she runs supperclubs and Vietnamese cooking classes in her London home.  Our co-founder Mex Ibrahim, reviews Quick and Easy Vietnamese after Uyen’s joyous launch party on 9th August.

Women in the Food Industry & KERB hosted a panel event about the business of street food! In the bookshop at Seven Dials Market, you could discover how to start and promote your own street food stall, the pros and cons of buying a street food truck, the challenges and benefits of moving on from selling locally to national distribution, and have learnt much, much more. Men & women were welcomed to this insightful panel, and networking event.

Speciality & Fine Food Fair, is the UK’s leading showcase of artisanal food and drink. Now in its 25th year is returning from the 10th – 11th of September at Olympia, London. It’s a free industry event, designed as a food festival. Our co-founder, Mex Ibrahim, is delighted to be chairing a session in the Trends Theatre on 10th September called Diversity: More Than Just Ticking Boxes. The shortlist for the Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers 2024 was announced on April 4th 2024. Part of the global Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards, this award aims to encourage and celebrate women photographers.
