Let’s rock 2023 because together, anything is possible.

We are mindful that we are in the midst of a crisis. In fact there is no escaping it. But out of crises can emerge new and incredible opportunities, particularly if traditional approaches and paradigms are questioned and challenged.

Women continue to take leading roles as successful innovators in the food sector and if we are committed to creating a more sustainable food system, then women should be at the heart of this revolution.

Women have got different skill sets to men and probably different natural ways of driving a team or creating community, creating culture, creating an amazing working environment and getting the most out of people. That’s “soft” power but it’s still power.

If you’re really passionate about something then go for it with all your heart, be really brave and, if it fails, fail quickly. The main thing is to give it a go, start small, see if there’s demand for the service or the product. You’ll never know unless you do it. And that’s where hope comes in.

Together let’s turn this crisis into an opportunity. And as we focus on what is good and positive then we are choosing happiness and that’s got to be a good thing for everyone.

Our wish for every woman in the food industry in 2023 is to be empowered to follow and fulfil their dreams. We believe that if we all come together to support each other then we will be a force for positive change.
