Highly Commended in Nichols Award 2022
We are delighted to have been named Highly Commended in The Nichols Award 2022
The Nichols Group is an independent company of strategic change makers, owned and led by sisters Kathryn Nichols and Frances Nichols.
They are a unique, independent company of strategic change makers. For over 47 years they have advised and delivered large, iconic programmes, complex projects and major business change initiatives, operating in a wide range of areas, including regeneration, infrastructure, technology and the environment.
Their vision is “creativity to inspire and change the world” and their values are creativity, fun, intuition, spirit, openness, gratitude, positivity and respect and their ethos is to go above and beyond in all that they do.
Their vision and values are at the centre of all that they do. They believe in compassionate leadership and aim to raise business consciousness in the world to create a more harmonious future.
Their annual Nichols Award seeks to find and grant £20,000 to individuals and small independent businesses who have, or continue to dedicate their time to helping others, or programmes that transform the lives of many.
They look for those who seek to deliver positive change in the world, incorporate values in their work, in areas such as diversity, wellbeing, the environment, and the local economy and have visionary and innovative qualities.
The Nichols Award judges awarded six entries the accolade of Highly Commended. These entries illustrated outstanding work which could simply not go unnoticed.
Here’s what they said about us: “Women in the Food Industry is an organisation that champions and celebrates women by providing a unique, dedicated space for them to collaborate and share stories within the food industry. Their aim is to change culture so that it is geared towards gender equality and empowerment through the delivery of mentoring programmes and research, and by working in partnership with trade organisations and universities to provide practical help, advice and funding to those looking to be part of the food industry.”
