We have teamed up with our friends at Cookery School at Little Portland Street to bring you discounted tickets to their brand new series of monthly events. Conversations Around The Cookery School Table is the place to enjoy lively discussions, networking with like-minded food lovers, and, as with all events and classes at Cookery School, the opportunity to taste some of their delicious food.
Their next event takes place on Monday September 30th 2024 from 6pm-8.30pm and we will be discussing how the ancient bread making process known as sourdough has risen to a superior bread status?
For this new event Cookery School have brought together a fascinating panel of expert speakers including – Apollonia Poilâne, third generation baker and CEO of Parisian and London bakery, Poilâne, Australian baker, food writer and sourdough teacher, Dan Lepard, alongside Ben Mackinnon, baker and founder of E5 Bakehouse, and Chris Holister, Head of Development at Shipton Mill.
Inheritor and leader of Paris’s most iconoclastic and celebrated bread bakery, Poilâne, Apollonia Poilâneis a singular authority in the world of bread, having taken over the company at the age of 18. Her simple philosophy and techniques continue to deliver a masterful, and magical, product, serving customers across the globe.
